Cornerstone is a residential nursing care provider for people with complex care needs. Our skilled clinical and care teams provide expert support to ensure that we can meet the evolving needs of people who have a range of complex needs including; • People with complex dementia including early stage, Korsakoff’s and other specialist diagnosis • People with brain injuries (ABI and TBI) • People with neuro-rehabilitation needs • People with neuro progressive conditions, such as Huntingdon’s • People with organic and functional mental health needs, including a S117 pathway What makes us different? • Seeing beyond the diagnosis and understanding the individual’s journey • We look at the whole person, their unique needs in terms of communication and behavioural support and do not discriminate on diagnosis • We often can support people who have experienced placement breakdown or have not been able to be accommodated by other providers • Focus on de-escalation as a BILD accredited NAPPI provider, all of our colleagues are trained and skilled in managing challenging situations • A proactive and robust framework for reducing 1:1 dependency with ongoing reviews and assessments
