Corona College

Corona College was established in 1987 and is now in its twenty-fifth year of offering innovative and quality training. In June 2012, Corona College took on a new vision for providing literacy, adult basic education and health and safety training. Corona College is an active member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Career Colleges as well as the National Association of Career Colleges. Corona College is passionate about the importance of literacy and the right of every person to an education. Literacy is a human right, a tool that gives a person the skills, confidence and means for personal growth and financial security. Graduates of Corona College’s Barton Reading and Spelling Program and Adult Basic Education gain the confidence and skills they need to enroll in and graduate from college, find a more rewarding job, and lead more enriching, fulfilling lives for themselves and their families. If you or someone you know has difficulty reading, needs to earn their high school diploma, or could benefit from one-on-one training, learn more about the opportunities that await you! Barton is a one-on-one tutoring system that will greatly improve the spelling, reading, and writing skills of those students who struggle due to dyslexia or other learning disabilities. It’s designed to support adults who are having reading difficulties and school-aged students who need more one-on-one support than can be provided in their regular school system.
