The Coroner Forensic Science Center was established by the St. Tammany Parish Coroner Dr. Peter R. Galvan in 2005 to provide St. Tammany Parish with timely, cost-effective, and accurate scientific analysis, including comprehensive determinations into the cause and manner of death. The Coroner Forensic Science Center employees provide quality services with integrity and without bias to all clients in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005(E).
