Greetings from Corpshaala, We run a social entrepreneurship company. Corpshaala’s prime focus is to provide competent skills in the field of technology, process and management for college students ( Tier 3 and Tier 4 city students) and to bridge the institutional knowledge gap by customized mentoring program for free and to aid students find a strong foothold in this competitive IT market. What we do at Corpshaala? Corpshaala believes strongly that every student develops interest in a specific area or a subject. Typically IT engineering has 60+ subjects in 4 years. Out of this, 1 or 2 would be the favorite subject for the student. But the fact based on our survey with students is, every student wants to become a programmer because they are not aware of 500 different roles available in IT industry or the curriculum doesn't support. There is a huge gap in “real industry IT” VS “Teachings” at engineering colleges. We all know technology changes every day and curriculum changes once in 5+years in India. Corpshaala fills this gap by involving the industry experts and mentoring students to reach their destinations. When we mentor, student/employee gets what he likes to do in technology and the employer gets the best resource for the role. We mentor students to live their dream. Why do we think our social entrepreneurship can be scaled up? India is a key player in the global IT revolution due to the quality of its professionals. The educational institute has done commendable job in creating the resource pool. However, only few students come out of institutions with the IT industry knowledge for being employable. There is urgent need to bridge the gap by enabling students to pass out as enterprising professionals into a highly skilled corporate industry.
