We envision a Boise where no one falls through the cracks—where community comes together to help neighbors in crisis before their crisis worsens, and where going through hardship connects you to your greater community rather than isolating you. As Boise's only year-round day shelter, Corpus Commons serves as a homebase for over 200 neighbors experiencing housing insecurity each day. While overnight shelters close their doors, we're here during the 12+ hours when people are actively navigating their survival and rebuilding their lives. What Makes Us Different: We believe homelessness isn't just about lacking shelter—it's about being disconnected from your community, routine, and dignity. Through our hospitality-driven approach, we create a family-like atmosphere where genuine relationships and trust develop naturally. Our guests tell us that when they walk through our doors, they feel like they have a family. Daily Impact Every day, we provide- Breakfast and lunch meals annually)- Showers, laundry, and personal hygiene services showers, loads of laundry)- Mail services for 1,700+ individuals using Corpus as their address - Employment support, document assistance, and pathways forward - A safe space to exist with dignity during daytime hours Since 2003, we've believed that when communities invest in dignity, hospitality, and authentic relationships with their most vulnerable members, everyone benefits.
