Corrib Pub & Restaurant opened in 1969 and has locations at 396 Market Street in Brighton and 2030 Centre Street in West Roxbury. In 1969, Hughie Bligh, a native of County Roscommon, bought McMahon’s Bar on Market Street in Brighton and renamed it Corrib Pub after the eponymous lough in County Galway. In 1988, Martin, Angela, Hughie and Mary Bligh purchased P.J. Cronin’s on Centre Street in West Roxbury and started doing business as the Corrib Pub & Restaurant. Our family welcomes neighbors, friends, and visitors as our own and thank you and appreciate your continued loyalty over the past 55 years.
