Corson Lab
The Corson Lab is a research group led by Professor Elizabeth Corson in the Department of Chemical & Petroleum Engineering at the University of Kansas. In the Corson Lab we convert waste into valuable products using renewable electricity. Examples include carbon dioxide reduction to fuels and chemicals and the conversion of nitrate found in wastewater into ammonia to be used as fertilizer. We do both electrocatalysis and plasmon-enhanced photoelectrocatalysis.
