Cosigo Resources Ltd. is a Canada-based exploration company. The Company has mineral interests in properties in Brazil, Colombia and Canada. The Company's properties in Brazil include Castano, Bittencourt and Cerrinha. The Company is engaged in exploration of gold in the Taraira Gold Belt. Its primary focus is on the Taraira Gold Belt, which straddles the border between northwestern Brazil and southeastern Colombia. The Taraira Gold Belt is made up of a series of resistant quartz-sandstone ridges in an area surrounding the town of Taraira in southeastern Colombia. The Company's Machado property is located on Machado ridge, approximately 180 kilometers south-southeast of the provincial capital of Mitu in the Vaupes province of southeastern Colombia. The Machado property covers an area of approximately 9, 970 hectares. The Machado property covers southernmost approximately 20 kilometers of the ridge, and is centered approximately six kilometers west of the town of Taraira.
