Cosmic Vinyl

After nearly a decade of collecting and selling records and flea markets and pop-ups, Oren Pius opened Cosmic Vinyl in the spring of 2016. Located in the heart of Echo Park, one of L.A.'s most eclectic neighborhoods, Cosmic Vinyl offers a huge variety of records, tapes, hi-fi gear, clothing, accessories, and most recently: coffee and vegan cuisine. In October of 2020, owner Oren Pius decided it was time to fulfill his dream of having a coffee shop/record store hybrid, and added a vibrant counter selling coffee, tea, sandwiches, and pastries, all 100% vegan. From dollar record bins to a curated collection of rare and vintage finds, Cosmic Vinyl has something for every music lover's budget. The hi-fi wall has everything from simple setups for first timers to audiophile systems, vintage turntables, receivers, and other components. Cosmic Vinyl supports Los Angeles' ever-growing music scene by hosting live shows featuring local artists as well as stocking their records.
