Cosmic Writers

Cosmic Writers provides creative writing programming that bolsters children's communication skills within fun and engaging environments. Our flagship program, a series of virtual writing workshops called Word Camp, began in 2020 and has since served over 200 campers, teaching them genres from dystopian fiction to slam poetry. We have also begun working with educators to pilot in-person afterschool programs in schools. With our programming, children from all socioeconomic backgrounds come together to improve their literacy, express themselves clearly and effectively, and develop their critical and creative thinking skills.
