Cospe-Egypt

COSPE operates through different projects aimed at supporting vulnerable and unprivileged groups with a special focus on women’s associations, youth groups and local development organizations through capacity building, institutional support, educational programs, vocational training, awareness raising. In Egypt, COSPE is mainly tackling the following priority areas of intervention-Socio-rural development targeting small-medium agro and handicraft producers; Empowering civil society and independent media to support basic essential rights, women’s rights and social dialogue; fostering youth employment and job creation; Increasing and improving access to justice for women, with a special emphasis on the most remote and disserved urban and rural areas; Strengthening the role of culture and cultural diversity as a vector for inclusive growth, social cohesion and sustainable human development; Supporting migrants and social inclusion; building environmental awareness, climate change resilience and encouraging the use of green and renewable energies
