Cottage Industry Films

Cottage Industry Films is an independent production company that creates engaging, character driven, original drama. Cottage Industry Films was born out of the collaboration of Ashley Wing & Clayton Fussell. With a shared passion for dark humour, and a desire to promote filmmaking in the South West they first collaborated on the now multi award winning bittersweet mockumentary 'A Hard Day's Knight'. Their second film 'OMG', an experimental silent comedy, was editor's choice for the Virgin Media Shorts scheme and has been very well received at international film festivals. Having solidified their collaboration, they moved on to their third and most ambitious project, the dark comedy horror 'Robbing Peter', which, as well as having already picked up its first award, has been described as 'Very imaginative and funny' and 'Technically excellent' by respected cinematographer, Roger Deakins. Their fourth collaboration, entitled 'Day Return' aims to continue their now established track record of producing high quality narrative drama and will be their last short film before they begin work on their first feature film.
