Council Solutions

Council Solutions is a partnership within South Australian Local Government supporting councils' provision of improved outcomes for our communities; improved outcomes for community prosperity and well-being. With pressures on funding, budgets and costs, Council Solutions is a response to community requests for improved services with greater transparency, accountability and value for money. A self-funded initiative tracing back to 1994, the G2 Group of Councils quickly became six, providing aggregated procurement benefits and service delivery to communities. Serving a population in excess of people, Council Solutions manages the strategic and collaborative procurement of assets and services to its Councils, who together have staff and annual budgets totalling $600 Million. Council Solutions pools resources efficiently across multiple Councils to provide leadership, best practice, research, support and training. Council Solutions Regional Authority is an approved regional subsidiary pursuant to the Local Government Act (South Australia).
