CWA has a lineage in the Cambridge region that dates back to the 1960s and is well known for the quality and expertise of its professional service. CWA itself dates from 2002 following the merger of two separate Practices. We believe in providing our clients with clear, practical and straightforward advice throughout every commission and our rural studio near Cambridge has easy access to the M11, A14 and other major routes. We have long standing client relationships that include more than one regional residential developer and we have many completed projects for homes for the elderly across East Anglia and the Home Counties. For many years we have worked with a national charity that specialises in the care and rehabilitation of adults with a variety of disabilities as well as autism and acquired brain injury. We have completed residential ABI rehabilitation units in Cambridgeshire and Glasgow and a current project in south Wales, which have lead to similar projects for other clients. We have completed commercial projects that include office and business units within sensitive village locations where close working relationships with planners have been essential, something we always aim to develop. We undertake bespoke residential commissions that include new houses and the reconfiguration and extension of existing houses and we are very aware of the support private individuals often need in carrying out projects for themselves.
