Though CR has historically focused in the Permian, we have expanded and are actively prospecting and closing deals in other basins (SCOOP/STACK, Haynesville, Appalachia, etc.). Covenant’s management has an extensive and successful history of acquisitions and divestitures, and are currently buying under the entities Covenant Royalties V76, LP (CRV76) and Salty Rock Resources, LLC (SRR). Emerging aggressively from the COVID collapse, CR posted significant transaction activity in 2021 culminating in attractive returns that outpaced projections. CR’s robust team continues to actively build its deal pipeline, amassing data, leveraging proven relationships, and strategically acquiring despite market volatility. CR is nimble and versatile with a proven, systematic approach that has resulted in over 200 successful transactions for roughly $200mm in value.
