Crackerbox’s PRO’s feature an open cockpit, a driver and “riding mechanic”, a full race engine and a ride best described as “unpredictable.” So, you may be wondering just what a riding mechanic does? In the sport’s early days, the riding mechanic was exactly that - adjusting the engine during the race, pumping the fuel with a hand pump. Today, the rider hangs on and serves as the driver’s rear view mirror.
