In 1984 Bharat Singh Rathore gave up a teaching job in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and founded CRAFTEX INDIA in Mirzapur, India alongwith his wife Santosh Rathore to manufacture quality and innovation in hand woven flat-weave rugs / dhurries.
