Crane Meadows Golf Course

Since 1992, Crane Meadows Golf Course has offered the general public affordable golf in beautiful Weston, Wisconsin. Located only 3 miles southeast of Wausau in Central Wisconsin, our scenic nine hole course provides a challenging experience in a pleasant atmosphere. Beginning our 18th season, Crane Meadows has matured into a challenging course with a good mix of hazards. Our “low key” nature makes it a comfortable fit for the novice and the recreational golfer, while the woods, water, and sand provide plenty of challenges for the more experienced and sophisticated golfer. Crane Meadows Golf Course also provides a platform driving range which accommodates 12 golfers, plus a separate grass range area, and “practice” sand trap. Our course was designed and built by the original owner, Jerry Feathers, and his son, who operated it for 10 seasons. The current owner, William Garvey, purchased the course in 2003, and has concentrated on improvements to the turf, greens, and minor layout changes. Future focus will continue in those areas, with the hope of building a consistently fine course with affordable golf for everyone.
