CRANENAV® OVERVIEW CraneNav is a permit-aware navigation service designed specifically for mobile cranes. In a nutshell, CraneNav can ingest annual permits issued by roading authorities — particularly bridge data — and transpose this information onto a digital map on your mobile device. When you select a destination (just like in Waze or Google Maps), CraneNav retrieves all relevant bridge data within the route corridor for your crane. It then calculates a compliant route, automatically avoiding “DO NOT CROSS” bridges, removing surplus bridges, and setting the path. Should drivers deviate from the planned route, CraneNav instantly recalculates a new compliant route.
