Creactive Design Transport (CDT) has worked extensively on railway projects in Europe and Asia. We are experienced designers with specialist rail design knowledge gained with operators, manufacturers and promotors. Our real skill is identifying customer needs and incorporating changing expectations in new train platforms. This approach is driven by our engagement with customers in the mobility sector, marketplace and understanding the value of design and innovation for railways. Working with inclusive and agile clients we develop functional, enduring, attractive trains and transport products. CDT offers different services within the mobility sector: for train manufacturing businesses we are consultants, technical experts and integrators, providing design management at several levels, from strategic through to detail levels. For operators and turn-key contracts the skills are similar, but applied differently. The focus involves CX, customers and many different railway agencies. Our knowledge of the mobility sector and design management expertise is gained from Metro, Light rail, Heavy rail and turnkey projects. For example, understanding rail safety and regulations are an essential part of our business and are aligned with expertise in PRM-TSI and integration. CDT are often a catalyst, ensuring design is wholly integrated within an enterprise, aligning railway requirements railway with operation and regulations, creating conditions for change and growth. Mobility is not an easy sector to innovate or introduce change but an inclusive design skill-set is an essential part of our approach and valuable in changing culture. We have been working in advance design definition and the alternatively powered RS sector for some considerable time and look forward to meeting others involved in this area too, specifically opportunities for decarbonisation, and powering both new and renovated rolling stock.
