Dr. Parks is a Licensed Psychologist with extensive experience working therapeutically with adolescents, adults and children. She currently provides mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy, clinical hypnosis, EMDR, as well as family therapy and expressive arts therapy for adolescents and adults. Dr. Parks has worked in the field of mental health since 1975 and has maintained a private practice in Clinical Psychology since 1988. Dr. Parks specializes in working with adult and adolescent clients who are struggling with life transitions as well as issues related to one's sense of personal identity. Some of the types of life transitions that my client's deal with are; moving away from home for the first time, marriage, parenting, separation and divorce, bereavement, loss of careers and transitioning to new careers, and most commonly searching for a career that matches their abilities, interests and personality style.
