Our hands-on graphic design courses will give you an appreciation of what makes good design. You’ll learn to analyse briefs and visualise concepts, and will explore typography, layout, digital design, packaging design, illustration, advertising communication, branding and portfolio preparation. Students gain extensive skills with a variety of programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Graphic Designers work in art departments of advertising and design agencies, art studios, production houses, or in printing, marketing, media and publishing companies. Many grads set up their own businesses. Design is a growing profession with new opportunities arising all the time.
