Creative Urban Alchemy LLC (CUA) is an award-winning design studio working at the intersection of art, architecture, urban design and planning centering cultural heritage and equity in praxis. CUA offers services in crafting of urban design frameworks, masterplans, public realm plans, placemaking approaches, participatory design methodologies, spatial and equitable planning strategies. Our work focuses on the ideation and strategy development that is rooted in the engagement process. We aim to transform places and spaces in a way that builds community agency and improved partnerships between the grassroots and institutional. We are a certified Minority & Women owned Business Enterprise with the New York City Department of Small Business Services (SBS) and with the New York State Department of Economic Development, Division of Minority and Women's Business Development (DMWBD).
