I.am keen to share my skill and experience with business owners who have genuine ambition to develop their business into something substantial and sustainable, whether to sell or retain; I am open to meeting with business owners and individuals who work in a corporate environment to develop mutually beneficial on-going business relationship. I work with clients from a range of industry sectors, whilst their background can vary greatly their aspiration to improve and develop is shared. In truth I work with everything from start-ups to SMEs with a value of up to £10m although the clients I choose tend to share some shared characteristics. Many start-ups are begun by people who are unfamiliar with business and need help to launch and/or establish their business. I can help them to identify a plan to build their business, raise finance, and a long-term strategy whether it is to retain or exit from the business. There are many organisations which are doing very nicely with decent turnover, profitable, and positive cash-flow. The owners have decided it’s time to either grow the business to the next lever or perhaps to sell the business. I can help the owners identify the different options open to them, choose which option best suits their circumstances, and develop and implement a strategy to achieve the desired outcome. Businesses like people can lose their way and forget their primary purpose is to earn a return for the owner(s); concentrating instead on growing turnover, perhaps selling goods or services cheaper than their competitors (and cost of delivery). As a result the business has small profits, or even losses, and difficulties with cash-flow. I can help the business to identify the source of their difficulties; build a positive cash-flow and increase profitability.
