I am constantly looking for new ways to pass on my skills. My deepest desire is to kindle the love of learning while I'm at it. Every week, I look forward to spending treasured time with my vocal and piano students. They bring me great joy and a sense of accomplishment. I love watching them blossom and become comfortable sharing their talents in recitals, churches, and our community. I also love being the go-to mathematics and writing instructor for our local homeschooling families. The group writing classes that I offer provide some of my all-time favorite teaching moments. The students have so much fun brainstorming and learning together, and I enjoy looking on as their anxieties about writing melt away. As I pursue my own passions and pick up more skill and experience along the way, I will almost certainly look for an efficient and fun method of conveying what I have learned to others, even if it means writing a curriculum from scratch. It's not easy, but I enjoy it almost as much as I love teaching.
