A career in the corporate world was my life for over 20 years as Human Resources Business Partner. I’ve worked in industries as diverse as large engineering and law firms to world renowned international humanitarian aid organisation and small community health groups. Whilst being professionally successful in each role, my personal life was not so successful: I simply could not have a high flying career and be the mum and wife I wanted to be. I had no quality time with my family, I was over-stressed and overworked. It was not the life we desired and something had to change. My purpose in life had to be re-evaluated and that’s’ where it all started. The more I educated myself the more I realized that I can have a true work life balance. Where I can wake up to our darling son and be there throughout his development, have quality time with my husband and a professional career. I just had to find the right fit for me and our family. I found it! It was in the Personal Development Industry, which has enabled me to embark on the new journey. To own my business, work my own hours and yet provide for our family, finally enabling me to have a balanced life where I can reach my personal and professional goals. With my HRM background I knew the Personal Development Industry has been around for a very long time and a booming industry with an endless line of very successful business professionals that made it their own business to succeed.
