Council for the Registration of Schools Teaching Dyslexic pupils CReSTeD maintains a Register of Schools which have chosen to have their provision for SpLD (dyslexia) assessed. The purpose of the Register is to provide parents, and those who assist them, with an objective source of information to help them make an informed choice for the education of a child with SpLD (dyslexia). Schools are welcome to apply for inclusion in one of six categories (based on the level and type of provision) at any time. Details of the registration procedure can be found on the website: or by contacting the charity directly via email: admin@crested.org.uk The Register of Schools is published on the website: and is made available as a download or in printed form (free of charge) on request. The Council includes representatives from the Dyslexia-SpLD Trust, Dyslexia Action, the British Dyslexia Association, the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity, PATOSS and schools. CReSTeD was founded to help parents. It has had, and will continue to have, influence on the standards of provision for dyslexic pupils.
