Crick Data Challenge
A hackathon-style event that brings together experimental biologists and data-scientists to solve challenging data science problems in biology. The event was founded in 2019 by Martin Jones, Nikita Desai and Sera Aylin Cakiroglu. For each event, we select challenging projects brought to us by experimental scientists at The Francis Crick Institute who work on a variety of biological problems, employ an even wider variety of tools. To solve each challenge, we need experts in analysing each dataset and creative interdisciplinary scientists to bridge each specialisation.
