The idea for CripJustice began in 2015, when our founder Sunjay, noticed that people with disabilities were facing violence and incarceration at alarming rates. We believe this is due to the fact that we live in an ableist society. This is why we aim to advocate for those in the disabled community who are criminalized by elevating their voices and making their stories known.
