Crittenden Wines

Crittenden is one of the oldest family owned and operated wineries on the Mornington Peninsula. Established in 1982 by pioneer Garry Crittenden, the estate is renowned for its exemplary quality cool climate wines that consistently earn international recognition. Central to the ethos at Crittenden is the belief that exceptional wines begin in the vineyard. Rollo attributes the quality of the wine to its sustainable management over the past two decades. Through a dedication to non-chemical management and a focus on fostering natural disease resistance in the vineyard, they have cultivated healthier vines, resulting in superior fruit and wines. This dedication was acknowledged at the esteemed 2020 BRIT/FIVS International Sustainable Winegrowing Competition where they received the top accolade. Their estate-grown varieties of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Savagnin are showcased in The Zumma, Cri de Coeur, and Kangerong wines. The Peninsula range is representative of the Mornington Peninsula wine region, while a journey through Victoria's finest regions and vineyards awaits in the Italian and French inspired Pinocchio and Geppetto wines. Described by James Halliday as ‘an outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality’, Crittenden was yet again awarded Halliday’s highest rating of five red stars in the 2024 Halliday Wine Companion. With second-generation Crittenden’s at the helm, Rollo and Zoe, the estate has evolved into a must-visit destination on the Mornington Peninsula.
