Born out of Crofts Engineers Ltd of Bradford, England (1920s), Crofts Gears is a South African manufacturer and distributor of industrial mechanical power transmission products including gear units, couplings, and chain. Our specialisation lies in the local manufacture and servicing of gears, gear units, and couplings. We are also the approved distributor for Renold in Southern Africa. Renold is an international group delivering high-precision engineered chain and power transmission products to customers worldwide. Our market-leading products can be seen in diverse industry applications, from cement making to chocolate manufacturing, power stations, pulp and paper mills, sugar mills, steel mills, water treatment plants, mines, and quarries—anywhere something needs to be lifted, moved, rotated, or conveyed.
