Croplast

Croplast was put into operation on May 27 2003. Technical equipment is manufactured in Italy and satisfies European standards. The supplier of equipment is the company «Merloni Progetti», Milan, Italy. Plant for the production of pipes consists of two technological extrusion production lines and equipment for the production of connecting elements (fittings) to the pipes. The plant also has welding machines for butt welding of pipes and equipment for industrial waste recycling, the laboratory for testing raw material and end-products. The laboratory of the plant can conduct the required tests for quality control of raw materials used in accordance with the technical requirements. The pipes are made from virgin high-density polyethylene grade PE-100 top grade and are designed for pressures up to 32 atmospheres. The main advantages of PE pipes in operation should include high corrosion resistance of transported sorts and the smooth inner surface whereby friction loss therein is 30% lower than in steel and cast iron pipes. Operation of pipes is guaranteed for 50 years.
