Cross Timbers Procurement Center (CTPC) helps companies find contracts for work with local, state and federal governments. Our mission is to increase the number of contracts awarded to companies in the 61 county service area resulting in increased revenue and jobs in the area. Based at the University of Texas Arlington, we provide one-on-one counseling, events and up-to-date research in everything that has to do with selling to government agencies. Cross Timbers Procurement Center provides counseling and information to businesses regarding marketing their products and services to the Department of Defense, other federal agencies, State of Texas and local governments in our 61 county service area. We help our clients understand the requirements for doing business with governments and helping them identify key decision makers within target agencies. The Cross Timber Procurement Center sponsors numerous outreach events through the year. Our outreach events include how to do business with prime contractors and government agencies. We also participate in outreach events sponsored by others. Cross Timbers Procurement Center is one of 94 Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs)- with over 300 local offices - forming a nationwide network of dedicated procurement professionals working to support and extend Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) mission of providing the best value goods and services to America’s Armed Forces and other government agencies. Cross Timbers Procurement Center is the bridge between buyer and supplier, bringing to bear our knowledge of both government contracting and the capabilities of contractors to maximize fast, reliable service to our government with better quality and at lower costs.
