In 1988, Gordon Thiessen who was serving on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes founded the company to provide quality resources for athletes and coaches. He had previously worked with Wes Neal who authored “The Handbook on Athletic Perfection.” He recognized the need to keep Wes’ books for athletes and coaches in print and develop more books and resources for FCA and other sports ministries.
