Crown Informatics designs, develops and delivers innovative secure data collection systems for healthcare, social care, clinical audit and research purposes. We work with established clients in the UK, including the NHS and the Royal College of Physicians. Established in 2013, the Crown Audit division currently operates the National Hip Fracture Database clinical audit dedicated to hip fracture care in collaboration with the RCP and HQIP on behalf of NHS England. The NHFD is the largest hip fracture audit in the world and operates in every NHS hospital in England, Northern Ireland and Crown Audit delivered a new European clinical audit pilot project for the Fragility Fracture Network in 2014 and our dashboard and real-time charting technology underpinned a national quality award nomination for innovation for the RCP. In 2015, Crown was awarded the contract to deliver the operational and IT support of Falls and Fragility Fracture Audit Programme by the RCP. The program contains three work-streams: NHFD, National Falls audit and the Fracture Liason Service Database (FLS-Db).
