Continuous Cast Steel: These steels are produced by continuous solidification of molten metals into semi finished billet, bloom or slab. These steels have low mechanical qualities and serve as raw material for further processing by hot rolling or forging. Cast Ingots: These steels are similar to continuous cast steels only difference being that they are solidified in moulds.
