Crowne Development, Inc. a California corporation is wholly owned by Kal S. Takhar and Kam S. Takhar. The original entity was formed as a general partnership in 1989 and later incorporated. Kal S. Takhar, is a holder of a California Real Estate Broker’s license and manages the sales, marketing and the entitlement process for the company. Prior to formation of the company, he held a management position with Household International Inc. Kam S. Takhar, is a holder of a California Contractor’s License and manages the administration and the construction operations of the company. Kam is a holder of a BS degree in Business with a concentration in management information science from California State University at Sacramento. The company is experienced and has been successful in the acquisition, development, construction, management and sale of single-family home communities. Since inception, Crowne Development, Inc. has completed several residential developments and has completed construction of nearly single-family homes within the local market area. Their success has been accomplished through careful strategic land acquisition, innovative community and home designs, quality construction and effective marketing. This has led to Takhar Development(original name of general partnership) being named in February the 5th most successful “minority owned” business in the United States by ENTREPENEUR MAGAZINE.
