CRWND, Inc, also known as CRWND, is a non-profit organization that mentors Black girls, regardless of their gender identity, in elementary, middle and high school. An acronym for Courage, Respect, Wisdom, Nobility and Dedication, CRWND, Inc. empowers Black girls to become leaders of tomorrow. The members of CRWND recognize the unique challenges faced by Black girls in society and understand the importance of cultivating their self-esteem, resilience and leadership potential. The program is built upon three pillars: mental health education, academic achievement, and genuine mentorship between Black girls and women. CRWND, Inc. is driven by a collective commitment to break down societal barriers, dismantle stereotypes and create a world where Black girls are celebrated, supported and given equal opportunities to thrive.
