Crystal Diagnostics was born out of a research partnership with Kent State University and Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). The company’s mission is to bring new technology solutions to food pathogen detection advancing automation through use of liquid crystal technology. With years of R&D and 19 patents and counting, Crystal Diagnostics has developed the AutoXpress a new platform in food safety testing that is superior to systems currently in the market space. CDx is improving the safety of food through a low cost, fully automated, highly accurate platform that functions in a high throughput environment while also allowing for cost saving benefits and improved laboratory practices. CDx has a fully integrated in-house manufacturing, R&D, and engineering teams collaborating to bring the highest quality products to market.
