The Centre Sportif Etudiant (CSE) Animations a.s.b.l. is an association on Louvain-la-Neuve which is empowered by 12 students from the UCLouvain. This organization's first mission is to promote the sport in the region of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. This is done through 3 main events- The ’24 Heures Vélo de Louvain-la-Neuve’, largest student event in Belgium. More than 700 cyclists are racing during 24 hours on a 2.5 track within the city. Besides, 7 stages are installed across the city providing all kind of cultural entertainment for the general public. This event literally transforms the city each year during 24 hours welcoming more than people from all around Belgium- A student ski trip in the Alps which occurs during the week after the exams of January. More than 230 students joined each year the organization for the whole week- The ‘5 & 10 Miles of Louvain-la-Neuve’, a running race within and around the city which gathers each year almost 1500 runners. The whole financial benefits of this event are given to a charity association.
