Terminal Investment Limited (TiL) was founded in by the Aponte Family to secure container terminal capacity in the major ports called by our majority owner and main client, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company. Securing increasingly restricted terminal capacity is critical to the development of MSC’s core container shipping business. Terminal Investment Limited (TIL) invests in, develops and actively manages container terminals around the world, often in joint ventures with other major terminal operators. Since its inception in TIL has grown to become one of the largest and most geographically diverse terminal operators, covering 26 world trade ports in 21 countries with material ownership interests in 29 operating terminals and 1 terminal under development on five continents. These key figures are growing as we fulfil our ambitious growth plans.
