The University Library’s website provides online 24/7 chat services, access to digital materials, research help, online resources, the CSU system-wide OneSearch catalog, and more than 100 research databases. Need a book? Search OneSearch. If it is not available online, use the “Request Access” button. If we can get the book we'll either provide digital access to it or, provide access with our contactless Library Lockers, or mail the physical copy to your preferred address. Note that delivery of physical items to your address may take at least two weeks, so we’ll provide digital access if possible. The Library provides access to textbooks and course materials. Before purchasing textbooks, check Library Reserves to see if your course has any reserves materials online. Please note that due to COVID-19 precautions, we are only able to provide access to eBooks, articles, and films at this time. The Kellogg Library has more than 300 computers, more than 40 group study rooms, thousands of journals, and a quarter-million books. The Library is home to the campus Starbucks, computer labs, course reserves, classrooms, group and quiet study areas, student-friendly patios, public art, the Reading Room meeting and event space, special historical collections, and the after-hours 24/5 Zone. The 2018-19 academic year saw over one million visits from students, staff, faculty, and community members to the Kellogg Library. In 2018-19, Teaching and Learning librarians delivered 382 information literacy instruction sessions to 12,357 students across all academic departments.
