Cu Solar Boat
The CU Solar Boat team is one of Cornell's highly esteemed project teams. This year, the team will design a full size, single occupant, fully functioning speed boat to compete in the Intercollegiate Solar Splash Competition. The Solar Splash Competition gives our team a defined goal with many aspects to keep in mind, including: speed, drag, power consumption, and weight. The team is excited to participate in this perfect challenge to test our classroom knowledge. The entire CUSB team is comprised of dedicated students devoted to helping the team succeed in our ultimate goal - excelling in the Solar Splash competition. The team is divided into three main emphases: mechanical, electrical, and business.
