Cullgen is a biopharmaceutical company that has developed protein degradation technology that utilizes the body's own natural protein disposal system to selectively and efficiently degrade and remove disease-causing proteins. Our technology, which we call uSMITE™ (ubiquitin-mediated, small molecule-induced target elimination) has the potential to address a broad range of intracellular disease targets, including those representing the up to 80% of proteins that cannot be addressed by existing small molecule therapies, commonly referred to as undruggable targets. In addition to using our uSMITE™ platform to build our own pipeline of protein degradation product candidates, we are also developing a portfolio of novel E3 ligands.
