Cumberland County Library System Foundation

The Library Foundation supports the Cumberland County Library System and public libraries in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. A registered 501(c)(3) organization, EIN 20-8077580, the Library Foundation is an approved Educational Improvement Organization (EIO), eligible to receive contributions from approved businesses as part of Pennsylvania's EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) Program. The Library Foundation's two approved EIOs are Summer Learning Program, a series of free events and activities designed to foster a love of reading and to develop or enhance reading, writing, and learning skills; and School-Year STEM, a series of free events and activities offered during afternoons and weekends during the school year to encourage scientific inquiry and group communications skills. The Library Foundation also supports STAR - Service to (Homebound) Adult Readers, by researching and securing grant funding and by using unrestricted Foundation gifts of $100 or less to purchase large-print books.
