First and foremost, I am an entrepreneur at heart and a lawyer by profession. This combination of expertise helps me see both sides of the proverbial coin. The entrepreneur with an eye for the opportunity and the lawyer that assesses and manages the risk. That’s a rare combination of skills. I am also a confident and robust negotiator having spent many hours and days negotiating and settling large multi-million euro IT disputes on behalf of Dell Technologies. I previously co-founded Blackrock Technologies, a consulting firm focused on assisting IT organisations navigate complex software licensing audits and the associated enforcement of the software vendors’ intellectual property rights. My company was subsequently acquired by a US Firm, AnglePoint Group Inc. Cunningham Solicitors was a natural next step for me and represents a new and fresh approach to the practice of law, that is based on real-world business experience coupled with the legal acumen to deliver a truly best of breed legal service for my clients. I know what I am talking about when it comes to setting up, scaling and successfully exiting a business and I know how challenging that is. Not many business lawyers can say that!
