I'm a pediatric OT making evidence based practice attainable by writing reviews of pediatric OT research that are the sweet spot between reading the journal article itself and a story in a parenting magazine citing "research shows". After working for 6 years with a full outpatient and school caseload, I felt frustrated that I wanted to keep up with research but always felt spent by the end of the day to fit it into the moments I had. I wished there was a social media resource that highlighted research in occupational therapy in a condensed way. When COVID-19 ended up in my losing my day job and postponing my May 2020 wedding, I thought this was the right time to make my idea into a reality. My goal is that it will keep pediatric OT's up to date with evidenced based therapy practices in an efficient and enjoyable way.
