Curious Communities Consulting assists organisations to develop their capacity to collect and use data, create and demonstrate impact, and foster innovation and excellence in their particular field. Curious Communities Consulting believes that the impact of the social and community sectors can be unlocked through data led strategies and innovation, which in turn has a greater impact on people who benefit from social services. We don’t have small goals- we want to change the world. We know it’s possible because we have both worked within the social sector and been drivers of change ourselves. We know the only way of being able to evidence the need for innovation is through up skilling the staff delivering the services, and getting buy in at all levels of governance so that organisations can understand the importance of good data and leverage it in service design, delivery and evaluation. Our vision is to be able to support innovative ideas that are going to improve the lives of people who have been stuck in systemic disadvantage for prolonged periods of time. We believe that people using the services, and service providers have ideas that can change the system and make it work for people in a way that is cohesive and results in better outcomes. The only way to change the system is to show what works, with innovation, recording good data, addressing needs, getting qualitative stories, and backing them up with irrefutable evidence.
