Lourdes received a Master of Science in School Counseling from Texas A&M International University (TAMIU). Lourdes passion was to enter the field of clinical mental health counseling and received 2 licenses: LPC and LCDC. Lourdes specializes in offering a combination of Low Energy Neurofeedback system (LENS) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. The “Combo” has proven effective with quicker relief of symptoms such as PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Autism, Alzheimer’s(early stages)ADHD/ADD, Migraine’s, Head injury, and much more… They reported the return of clarity and improved memory, more energy during the day, sleeping at night, improved mood, motivation to get things done with ease, ability to read and listen with little or no distraction, and the absence of depression, irritability, and impatience. The Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS) is an EEG based, direct neurofeedback system that challenges the brain to greater efficiency and effectiveness to achieve optimal performance. Neuroscientists believe that the brain’s defenses against stressors and trauma can create a “neural gridlock.” LENS works around these blockages. Addressing the brain in its own electromagnetic language, LENS allows the brain to “reboot,” restoring optimal functioning. I have successfully treated hundreds of clients with complex trauma over the years with positive outcomes and most recently worked with individuals in treatment to address their trauma using Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I am Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), an evidence-based trauma therapy. This therapy is used to address attachment and relational trauma; as well as, for getting to the root causes of anxiety and depression. I offer in-person/virtual EMDR Intensives in English and/or Spanish to people who don’t have the ability to make weekly appointments and/or need relief sooner rather than later.
