PREPARING TO MEET MARKET GROWTH OVER THE COMING YEARS The Taiwan offshore renewable market is on the cusp of exponential growth. This is due primarily to the introduction of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction and Management Act, which seeks to increase the percentage of renewable energy contribution from six to twenty percent by 2025. According to 4C Offshore, a leading offshore energy market research organisation, Taiwan is expected to achieve 5.5 GW of installed offshore wind capacity by 2025.
